I only typed that in because I wanted to make sure that octopus’s were not being exploited…and I really, really, needed to be sure.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I feel it is more likely that any efforts you make on the behalf of octopi are to ensure that your head will be covered in sufficient animal style to see you through your next Cotillion of the Winningly Sardonic.
